Urgent cases
Active phishing and malware distribution are actioned on sight
1. How to submit a report
Send the details to support@tryb4host.com, or use the contact form and select "Abuse report" as the category.
- Include the exact URL, IP address or domain involved.
- Include timestamps with a timezone, and any headers or logs that support the report.
- Tell us what harm is occurring, so we can weigh urgency correctly.
2. Review process
We acknowledge reports within one business day. Each report is assessed against our acceptable use policy and the law of the jurisdiction the service sits in.
- Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we contact the customer and give them a window to remediate.
- Where the material is unlawful on its face, or the harm is active, we act first and notify afterwards.
- We do not act on unsubstantiated reports, and we do not disclose customer data to reporters.
3. Possible actions
- A remediation notice with a deadline.
- Content quarantine, rate limiting or service suspension.
- Termination of the account, in severe or repeated cases.
- Referral to law enforcement where a legal obligation applies.
4. Bad-faith and incomplete reports
Reports submitted to harass a competitor, suppress lawful speech, or with knowingly false information are closed and recorded.
- Repeat bad-faith reporters may be filtered.
- Incomplete reports are held for 14 days pending the missing detail, then closed.
